Friday Introductions: Alli Butler

Friday Introductions: Alli Butler
Friday Introductions: Alli Butler
This week, we got the chance to sit down with our newest addition to the Keene Trace team, Alli Butler (soon to be Young!). She joined us earlier this month and will be focusing on marketing and events. We asked her a few questions so you all could get to know her a little better!
Tell us about yourself. Where did you grow up? What school(s) did you attend?
“Absolutely. I grew up in Nicholasville and went to LCA for high school. I love Lexington, but when it came time to choose a college I felt like going away was the more admirable, adventurous thing to do. I went on countless college visits, including a “just for fun” tour of the University of Kentucky. I ended up falling in love with the campus and am now a senior there! Going to UK was not what I expected for college, but it has been the most fun years of my life. Graduating this year will be bittersweet for sure!”
How did you get involved in the golf industry?
“My role at Keene Trace is on the marketing side of things, so my background is more in marketing than golf. However, my fiancé played golf for LCA while we were dating and is now on the Transylvania team, so I’ve loved being around the golf industry through him. He started teaching me to play last year, and being at Keene just makes me more excited to keep learning!”
What are you most looking forward to in 2018?
“Well, I am getting married in June so it’s hard to top that! Beyond that, I am just excited for this summer at Keene Trace. I could not have joined the team at a better time! Of course, I am probably most excited for the Barbasol in July. I’m also looking forward to the opening of Sweat Keene Trace this summer. I am so thankful to be a part of all of it!”
