What is the Tee Time policy?
Due to the uncertainty of the amount of Saturday play at the Champion Trace course, we have decided to begin the season with tee times on Saturday only at Champion Trace. The times will be from 7:30 to 11:00 am. After 11:00 am, the tee will be open not requiring a tee time. Tee times will be assigned by completing a tee time request card and placing it in the Tee Time Box at the Champion Trace pro shop by Wednesday of the week you desire to play. The staff will assign tee times by Friday morning and you may then call or stop by to see what your tee time you have been assigned. The staff will try their best to assign you to the time you have chosen, but this will vary according to the number of requests we have received. As we get a feel for the amount of play on Saturdays at Champion Trace, we may shorten or lengthen the tee time period or may not require tee times at all. Tee times will not be required for Keene Run anytime.
What is the definition of a Corporate Membership?
Several questions have been asked about who qualifies for a corporate membership. For someone to qualify, they must be an employee of the corporation, and receive a regular paycheck from the corporation. Also, the first designee pays full price, while the second through fifth designee receives a 10% discount off their normal rate.
If I am a property owner can I use my own golf cart?
If you have your own golf cart, you may use it when you play. There is not a reduction in dues if you choose to do so.
Can I walk?
Anyone is welcome to walk when they play. There is not a reduction in dues if you choose to do so.
Are there minimums?
There are no food or clubhouse minimums. We encourage everyone to utilize the grill and dining room before and after play. The food service will be conducted by personnel of Darea and Friends catering. Many of you are familiar with the quality of food served by their staff. Hours of service will be from morning until dark during the golfing season. Food service will begin on March 1. Yancey Marcum will be overseeing the operations at both facilities. The food service and facilities are also available for your private functions from 12 to 200 people.
